1.2L Engine

The new 1.2-litre petrol engine with 3 cylinders delivers outstanding fuel efficiency with impressive low-end torque for quick, responsive acceleration. It is also equipped with a number of advanced features that help suppress CO2 emissions.

HEARTECT Platform

The smoothly curving frame increases underbody stiffness to help ensure excellent fundamental vehicle performance. In addition, it also contributes to collision safety by efficiently dispersing impact energy.

Suspension

The suspension system delivers a comfortable ride with excellent road-holding and handling stability. Rear suspension stroke is optimised for superior road surface followability.

Transmission

The new Dzire's CVT ensures a smoother and more comfortable ride. It offers seamless transmission by adopting a lock-up damper with low rigidity to the torque converter that minimises the loss of torque, delivers higher fuel efficiency and decreases maintenance cost.

Cruise Control

Cruise control can be activated via a button on the steering wheel, allowing you to release the accelerator pedal during highway driving to reduce fatigue on long trips.

Electric Stability Program (ESP)

ESP technology helps drivers control the vehicle during cornering, and assists them in maintaining traction when accelerating on loose or slippery road surfaces. If wheel slip is detected, the ESP system automatically regulates engine torque and selectively applies the brakes to help drivers maintain control.

6 Airbags

The new Dzire is equipped with dual front and side airbags for the driver and front passenger. Curtain airbags are also adopted for all passengers.

Hill Hold Control

In standing starts on slopes, the brakes engage for up to approximately two seconds after the driver removes pressure on the brake pedal to depress accelerator, preventing the vehicle from rolling backward.

Rear Parking Sensor

While you're parking, four ultrasonic sensors integrated in the rear bumper are designed to detect obstacles. Warning sounds alert you by changing in accordance with the distance to the obstacle.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

In an emergency braking situation, stay in control with the ABS which keeps the tyres from locking up and supports the driver to maintain steering ability.
